Welcome to our CHHS Class of 1978 website!

Registration for this site is open to any '78 Heights grad or an invited guest and is FREE.

This site will be our hub for all commmunication going forward.

HOW TO REGISTER TO USE THIS WEB SITE

1.    Click on the rectangular black and white block line entitled:  "Missing Classmate Profiles"  at the top of this page.

You can figure out how to create your profile as you work through establishing it, or follow the detailed instructions below.

Key reminders:

Once you establish your password, you will need it to access your profile in the future.

You do not need to fully complete your profile at this time, yet at a minimum please provide your:

• cell phone number (we do NOT share it)
• best email address (we do NOT share it)
• name changes if any
• which state you live in

2.    Click on your name and complete the site registration.  Everyone should be listed (maiden names are in parentheses). The list is in two segments:

1) alphabetical by maiden name, and 

2) if no name change, alphabetical by last name. 

When you sign up to use the site, you will have to go through four (4) quick steps.

3.     Only classmates names who are already in the database of the site, will be able to register.

Step 1 will ask you to "JOIN HERE."  Use that retangular block link, not the "send invite" area below it.  If your name is not in the database, write an email to heights1978@gmail.com, and you will be added. 

Step 2 will ask a several questions.  This is an important screen.  It allows classmates to view profile information, and that's up to you. 

However, one of the options at the bottom must be checked or search engines and the public can see your profile.  So, we suggest that you make sure to check the option that reads:

Step 3 gives you the opportunity to add a picture (optional).

Step 4 allows you to opt in to learn of profile changes of classmates (optional).

After Step 4, you can view your profile. 

We are just getting started to ensure as many or our '78 classmates have profiles on this site.

THE IN MEMORY PAGE

Finally, a note on the "In Memory" page.  The names that appear on the page were provided by the Heights Schools Foundation, or appeared in prior reunion booklets and databases, or have been given to us by classmates.  Our humblest apologies for any errors that might appear.  If errors are spotted, please let us know and we will promptly remove the names.  We will also notify the HSF when this process is through so that they have the most complete and correct list going forward.

 CLASS PICTURES

 If you have a class picture (one that shows you and your classmates e.g. Mrs. Morgan's First Grade Class at Taylor), scan it, let us know and email it to us (heights1978@gmail.com).  We are uploading the pictures to the web site and organizing them by junior high. So, if you went to Belvoir, your class pictures would be on the Pics Wiley Elem page, or if you went to Boulevard, the pictures would appear on the Pics Roosevelt Elem page.  If you went to Taylor, the students went either to Wiley or Roosevelt depending on where they lived so the pictures will be placed in both the Wiley and Roosevelt pages.  This way, everyone can enjoy the photos.  If you can identify the names of the persons in the photo for us, that would be great.  . 

If you have candid photos taken of classmates, send those along and we will add them to the Misc Pics Page.
